His best friend, Michael calls him the real 'Baddest Man on the Planet'. A child prodigy in the art of hand to hand combat, Kyo was born an orphan. He was given to the shadowy organization known as the Association shortly after his birth, his prior guardian feeling that his special attributes would serve them well. Not knowing what these special attributes were, Kyo was selected to undergo an experimental procedure christened the 'Intercommunication Project' with his partner Michael. The theory behind the procedure was to imbed small communication chips into two subjects brains, allowing communication between the two incapable of being hacked. All subjects beforehand responded unsuccessfully, but Kyo and Michael emerged unscathed and were deemed huge successes.
The intercommunication chip allowed Kyo and Michael an extraordinary level of communication. They even found that they could enter each others dreams with a bit of coordination. Under the watchful eyes of his trainers at their base deemed 'the House', Kyo spent his formative years developing his fighting abilities to uncanny levels, making him an important asset to the Association. Deemed their ultimate weapon, the Association sought to raise him as a de-sensitzed killing machine, but fortunately for the youngster Michael's maternal grandmother was high in the hierarchy of the organization. She took it upon herself to show the two youngsters the normalcy of childhood, usually against their keepers best wishes. They were able to experience mundane things such as Michael's immediate family, going to amusement parks, and even church on occasion making a huge difference on their juvenile psyches.
Now, nearing adulthood, Kyo and his partner Michael are privy to the best perks and rewards the Association has to offer. With each successful mission, they are granted access to the finest living conditions, as well as a never ending cash flow. Kyo cares nothing for the perks, though, he lives for the rush of battle while trying hard not to get lost in the violent nature of his lifestyle.
